The Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library of The Catholic University of America
is a voluntary organization dedicated to encouraging and advancing the purpose
and programs of The Catholic University of America library.
The goals of
the organization include:
fostering an understanding and appreciation of the library and its contribution
to the University and the advancement of knowledge,
generating funds and encouraging gifts for the enhancement of the library,
including its facilities, programs, and collections, and
promoting interest in and recognition of the collections and services of
the library.
Members get better acquainted with the wealth of knowledge and services
to be found in the library, have the opportunity to hear outstanding scholars
lecture in their special fields, and have the pride and satisfaction of helping
the library grow stronger in its collections and services.
