Digitized Online Collections

In 2001 The Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) was awarded a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the 2001 National Leadership Grants for Libraries program.  WRLC's Digital Collections Production Center (DCPC) is a collaborative facility to provide digital conversion services in a production environment for WRLC member universities. The DCPC provides staff and systems to manage digitizing projects, scan materials, and enter descriptive information developed in conjunction with library staff.

Each member University Archives was asked to provide materials from their collections for consideration as possible materials for digitization.  As of September 2007, ACUA has eight collections digitized so far.
