his editorial cartoon appeared in the Columbus Ohio Dispatch two days after the Supreme Court declared the Oregon School Law to be unconstitutional. The contributor of this cartoon used images to present his opinion on the role that parents and the state should play in the education of children. The sentiments expressed here are similar to those of many editorials printed in newspapers throughout America at the time.
