A Guide to Architecture Resources

This page is designed to help you find Internet resources in
architecture. Its purpose is to serve as a starting point -- a guide to
selected resources -- rather than a comprehensive list.

Planners Association, many of which are not indexed by the Avery Index:

Reference
- Art
and Architecture Thesaurus
- An online thesaurus of terms describing art, images,
architecture and objects from antiquity to the present. Most
architecture indexes use the vocabulary from Art and Architecture
Thesaurus; for example, use the thesaurus to find out when you need to
use "siding" and when you need to use "cladding" when searching for
items.

excellent introduction to the strategies of architectural research.
