Statistical Abstract of the United States
The essential source for U.S. statistics, it serves as both a statistical reference providing tabular data on social, political and economic issues and as a guide to other sources, including state and foreign data. It is updated annually.

American Statistics Index
American Statistics Index, published by Congressional Information Service, identifies and describes in detail statistical data published by federal government sources. It does not supply statistics. The annual publication is two volumes, with one serving as an index and the other containing abstracts. Print subscription ended in 2005; see Statistical Universe via ALADIN for electronic version.

Historical Statistics of the United States, Colonial Times to 1970
Produced for the U.S. Bicentennial by the Bureau of the Census, this two-volume publication provides historical data as well as references to more detailed sources. Statistics are provided in several areas, including population, labor, migration, price indexes, and land, water and climate.

County and City Extra
An annual publication produced by Bernan Press, County and City Extra is a source for statistics for every U.S. state, county, metro area and congressional district and for all cities with population figures of at least 25,000 people. Subjects covered include vital statistics, crime, education, income, employment and agriculture.

Catholic Almanac
Published by Our Sunday Visitor, the Catholic Almanac provides information on a number of topics related to the Catholic Church, including detailed statistics on the Church in the United States, Canada and Mexico as well as some worldwide statistics.

Statistical Universe (Lexis-Nexis Statistical)
This database includes information from the American Statistics Index as well as the Statistical Abstract of the United States and a selection of full-text documents, including international data. "Search by Tables" searches words that appear in tables, table titles or subject descriptors. "Search Abstracts" searches indexes and abstracts of statistical reports. Both search types may be limited by geographic, demographic and economic breakdowns as well as by date.
STAT-USA
Economic, business, and international trade information produced by the U.S. government. Includes current and historical economic and financial releases and economic data. Also includes the National Trade Data Bank for current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, and country analysis.
Health and Psychosocial Instruments
Health and Psychosocial Instruments provides ready access to information on measurement instruments (i.e., questionnaires, interview schedules, checklists, index measures, coding schemes/ manuals, rating scales, projective techniques, vignettes/scenarios, tests) in the health fields, psychosocial sciences, organizational behavior, and library and information science.
