About the CUA Music Library
The Music Library is located in Ward Hall with the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music. Its mission is to support the teaching and research programs of the School of Music by providing bibliographic and information service, and to support the mission of the University by collecting the music of the Roman Catholic Church. Holdings include about 25,000 volumes of scores and books on music; 4,000 compact discs;15,000 long-playing records; 200 DVDs and 300 laser discs. The library subscribes to over 100 print and electronic journals and has several special collections. There are facilities for listening to streaming audio, CDs, cassette tapes, and LPs, and for viewing video discs, video tapes, and CD-ROMs. Five PCs with Internet access are available.
